I absolutely LOVE it when Easton makes this face... both the surprised and happy face.

Chicago Mix
Before taking a nap on Sunday, I had a little bit of this popcorn (which has cheddar and caramel popcorn), then gave the bag to Casey. When I got up from my nap:
Casey: You are in BIG trouble. I have a serious bone to pick with you.
Nicole: What did I do? I've just been sleeping!?
Casey: Oh, I think you know what you did.
Nicole: No, I really don't.
Casey: YOU ATE ALL THE CARAMEL POPCORN!
Nicole: No I didn't.(holding back hysterically laughing, cause Casey was really THAT serious)
Casey: Yes you did. I am not getting ANY caramel popcorn, and it's delicious.
Nicole: Casey, please read the bag.
Casey: Chicago Mix. A MIX. See, that means there should be both caramel and cheddar.
Nicole: Casey, please read the top of the bag.
Casey: Caramel corn may settle. Shake it!
Nicole: (the look on my face was enough said)
Casey: Well how are we supposed to know you have to shake it !?!?
Nicole: Well, it does say it right on the bag.
Casey: You are SO lucky right now.
Little did Casey know, I did WANT to pick out the caramel corn... but I ate mostly cheddar too until I gave up. The caramel corn is really that delicious. It was then that I read the bag. I guess I could have shaken up the bag for Casey... but I didn't think it was going to be THAT big of deal. When it comes to Casey and food... I should have known.
Cabin Trip
It was supposed to be a couples trip. Casey ruined that for everyone... first, he had a final on the Saturday which he was still going to come up and then leave early to make it to his final. Then he a group project come up Friday night... and there was really no way to work around that one, so it became a girls trip!
| Easton wasn't cooperating. |
| Something SO CUTE about all these kiddos in the car together :) |
We always have a really good time. Ana's cabin is beautiful and it was really nice to get away... even if we did have the kids and they were all over the place. On Saturday morning we made a killer breakfast... German pancakes with tons of fruit, hashbrowns and sausage. Oh, and Ana showed us how to make super yummy pie crust and made a banana cream pie... YMMM!

Bus
This bus has basically become one of Easton's limbs. He never puts it down, and always wants to play with it. This week he got SUPER into cars. Even the daycare lady texted me a picture of him playing with the cars at daycare and said from the minute he gets there in the morning, until he leaves all he wants to do is play with the cars. Every chance he gets, he asks me to sit ("sh!t") on the kitchen on the floor so we can pass the bus back and forth to each other. It is so stinking cute. Next on our purchase list: a car track.
Precious little miracle
I could not be happier to announce the arrival of this precious little miracle. The doctors told my sister this day wouldn't happen. It brings absolutely so much joy to my heart that Michele and Rich will get to be parents to this beautiful little girl. She really is a miracle.
Meeting Ashley makes me that much happier for my little angels. I've said this before, but Easton makes me happier than anything ever could. I could stare at him forever. And I am so excited to be having a little girl soon! Two weeks ago I was measuring 36 weeks when I was 32 1/2, so I had to have an ultrasound. Turns out the baby is measuring perfectly normal... I just have a huge uterus. What was super fun about the ultrasound tho was that the techs told me that Elsie already has tons of hair! There were two in there cause one was training on their new machine... and both of them at the same time were like "whoa" she has tons of curly hair! I LOVE that Elsie already has tons of curly hair... curly hair just like ME :).

Baby in a diaper
There is something just so stinking adorable about a baby in a diaper. This is my attempt at getting just one picture of Easton, smiling and looking at the camera. With The Office in the background... Easton wouldn't even look at me. GOOD GOSH, I love him!!
Happy Fourth of July!
The parade at the daycare was SUPER cute, and Easton loved his first Popsicle.
We went to Seven Peaks with dada in the morning and had a total blast. I think Easton thought he was in heaven... being at Seven Peak with MOM and DAD (normally he just gets mom). He kept going back and forth from each of us, saying "momma" and "dadda" all day. When we got in the car to go home, we wanted to keep him awake so that he would fall asleep when we got home. Trying to keep him awake was absolutely hilarious. He was delirious. He looked mostly drunk and I'm kicking myself we didn't video any of it. I kept singing to him and trying to get him to move around... but if I would stop for a second he would start to close his eyes. It was great.
Then that night we went to the Stadium of Fire with my parents. It was pretty hot, but super fun! Easton was a HUGE fan of clapping... which was great cause there was a lot. I joke that I have like 10 boyfriends... people like Chaning Tatum, David Archueleta, Kyle Beckerman... and whoever else I basically feel like calling my boyfriend that day (Let's be honest - Casey knows how wrapped he has me... so really he knows I'm all talk). Well the only person that Casey has ever even come close to saying he was any hint of anything for.... is Carrie Underwood. Really, he has a total crush on her. I think Casey absolutely loved the concert, and loved that Easton was into the music. We decided to leave just a little bit into the fireworks cause mostly they were just scaring Easton, but with my boys happy... I'd say it was successful night :) Thanks Mom and Dad for an awesome Fourth!
Then the next day we got to go see Jessica and family! They were in town and were blessing baby Henry. So good to see them!
Poor Boy
Sometimes we have just have this kind of night. I'd like to blame it on no nap, or not being fed... but tonight, this is just how he was acting. And not gonna lie... his acting like this kinda makes his very pregnant momma feel the same way.
Shauna's Visit
It was such a blast to see Shauna again! We've been friends since I moved to North Carolina in middle school and got super lucky this summer that she was in town for a Pharmacy conference! While she was here, I had to work the AF Canyon Half and so Shauna decided to run it, and she totally killed it! Amazing!
We also stopped by the Pleasant Grove Strawberry days where Easton got to check out this fire truck, his favorite thing right now.
We also went up to Park City and stopped by Bridal Veil Falls.
Casey and Shauna went down the alpine slide...
And Easton checked out this ride. At first he loved it, but then a loud noise went off and he totally freaked.
Then the last night we spent at my parents house. My dad is SO cute with Easton. This is them just hanging out in the backyard :)
