Pedicures and Showers

This weekend didn't exactly turn out as I had planned. A good friend Kara was having her baby shower so I had planned to go up with KC on saturday morning to meet my mom and sister to go to the shower. Well with the snow and Kc having to be close to Provo in case he got called into work, I ended up catching a ride with Michele and Rich to my parents on Friday night. So I ended up having a fun day with my mom. We went to the shower, then went and got pedicures at my favorite pedicure place! Then Casey was suposed to come up Saturday afternoon after the storm so that we could hang out with Jake and Hayley... but Hayley wasn't feeling well and it wasn't worth the risk of Casey driving in the snow, so he ended up staying home.

By Sunday, Easton and I were really missing daddy. But to my pleasant surprise, Casey missed us too! I should preface by saying I'm totally the one in the relationship that misses him. It doesn't mean Casey loves me any less... but he's normally just fine to go on trips and be okay away. Here is our conversation on the way home from my parents when he picked me up on Sunday morning:

Nicole: So did you miss us, or was the break and night without crying nice?

Casey: Oh I MISSED you!!

Nicole: Huh?

Casey: I was sick of my X-box after like 30 minutes, there was nothing on Netflix, there were no games on and I had no homework. Nicole, I cleaned the house!!

Nicole: HUH?? 

I'm still scratching my head. Mayb we should go away more often!

I'm SO excited for Kara. She's going to be an AMAZING mom!!

My mom got the same guy that she didn't like last time... such bad luck! My pedicure was great though... sometimes I feel like I would pay just to be able to sit in the massage chair!

 

I think Easton had a good time at the shower too :)

Four months!!

I can't believe our future little baseball player is already four months old!!

Hockey Games

When Casey and I first started dating, my brother-in-law Jeremy played hockey for BYU. We went to a lot of the games back then and they have a special place in my heart being a place where I was falling for Casey. This picture is form about 4 year ago...

Jeremy has become the coach of the team but is now retiring. Last week we went to his last game as the coach. It was pretty fun to be at one of those games with our little Easton!

My whole world.

I absolutely LOVE these two, especially together. I love the way Casey loves Easton and the way he plays with him. I am so lucky that Casey is such a good dad. He is so adorable with kids. I can't wait until he's teaching them to play sports or telling Easton about girls. He has a natural knack and its super cute.

The other night I was going to do dinner with Anna and Casey was going to do dinner with his friend Ryan. A little while before it was time to go, Casey asked me "Do you think that you and Anna would want to come with us? I just think it would be easier that way". AKA- Casey wanted to be with Easton. Like I said, I love the way Casey loves Easton.

SUPERBOWL

I love my little football! We went to my parents house for the superbowl. I still think it's halarious that the power went out. And I get that Beyonce wants women power... but I still think her outfit was slutty.

We are COWBOY fans at our house, no matter who is playing in the superbowl.

Snowmobiling

I LOVE SNOWMOBILING!!!

Last weekend we went up to Stawberry to go snowmobiling with the Houghton's and it was a blast! Thank-you Cal and Jody for making it posible! It was a lot of fun.

Working from home...

It is so nice that I can work from home sometimes. That means just a little more time with my cute baby, while I am getting my job done.

I have a computer hooked up to our TV... so it's actually pretty nice to get work done on the big screen!
