Nate and Veronica Parkinson

About a year ago, I had one married friend and no sight for any others. Now they are dropping like flies!! Nate and Veronica got married on August 15, 2009 in the Salt Lake City temple. I am very excited for Nate and V, they looked so happy! It was really fun to be there. Casey and I got married just a couple months ago in a room just down the hall from where nate and v got married. Being there and being reminded of our wedding day was really fun.

We caught Veronica for like 30 seconds in between family pictures and got one with her ;)Decorating her car was fun. We didn't torture her with oreo's and silly string like they did the poor acura.

Right before she was about to leave for the honeymoon!

I am an aunt again today! Martin and Colleen had another boy this morning. They haven't named him yet, so we are all just sitting tight, waiting for Martin to tell us his name.

Funny thing is Martin called me last night and tried to make me believe they had already had thier kid last week and named him Billy Bob Godfrey. I didn't buy it.

I'm very happy for you Martin and Colleen, Congrats!! I can't wait to see him :)

My mom e-mailed this to me. I liked it.

This is from an article in the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper on Sunday.

The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the Economy?" I think this guy nailed it!

Dear Mr. President,
Please find below my suggestion for fixing America 's economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:

There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. - Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:
1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed. It can't get any easier than that!

P.S If more money is needed, have all members in Congress and their Constituents pay their taxes...If you think this would work, please forward to everyone you know. If not, please disregard.
