Our first THRIVE (practice) party!!

After becoming THRIVE consultants, Casey and I jumped into our first party... with a few of my friends as victims. We still have a lot to learn and will be having another practice party... but we are gonna get this down!

Cupcake

This is an add-on to my last post... how to eat a cupcake, LIVIA style:

Andrea's Fun Night

So really I felt like this was MY fun night. I wanted to plan a little something fun for Andrea for watching Easton. I could go into how much I appreciate everything she does - what an amazing sister and friend she is - and how someday I really hope I can show her how much a deeply appreciate her - but WOW... I'm already starting to cry. Having to go back to work has been one of the hardest things I've ever done and I have no idea where I would be right now if it wasn't for her. Not only does she watch Easton and make leaving him bearable knowing he is with her, but she has become one of my best friends. Andrea, I love you.

So anyways... while Andrea was getting her haircut, I had the privilege of going to Color-Me-Mine with her kids. It was probably more fun for me!

And Andrea's haircut was SUPER CUTE!!

Locked Out

After having to pay for a bunch of repairs on our car and then the surprise surgery.... we had another surprise. Just to add another slap in our faces, we got locked out of our condo. Oh don't worry... we had plenty of keys (ehhem to my neighbors who gave me judgmental glares), and a plethora of our neighbors trying to help us break in. Apparently our windows are impenetrable and it was the deadbolt mechanism that somehow broke and no matter how many times we turned the key, it just wasn't going to move. So $200 later to get a locksmith to come screw out our door handle and deadbolt... was just the cherry on top to our awful week.

A big thank-you to our nice neighbors to tried to help us and keep us entertained as we were locked out. At least Easton was having a blast with our cute neighbor girl...
