First World Problems...
Every morning we would wake up to Easton turning on and off the light in his room. He is totally obsessed with light switches. He is always pointing to lights/fans and always wanting to play with light switches. When I set him down on the bathroom counter so he can reach the light switch, he giggles and gets super excited.
Bike Rides
So I totally became obsessed with bike riding. Like really. I love it so much. I love how good I feel after, I love that it's something active I can do with Easton and I know it makes him really happy, I love pushing myself to go further and harder. I just love it. I love seeing new streets and neighborhoods that are super close to my neighborhood and I wouldn't even know existed if I didn't go riding... I love looking at houses and discovering cute neighborhoods that I could imagine Casey and I living in... and I love when I have a destination to bike to. I can't stinking wait until next summer because I am going to bike ALL over Utah!!
The first snowfall this year. Easton loved it! He was super confused for a bit, but then I think he really liked it. At first, I was pretty excited too... there's just something abuot the first snow fall and the smells that is happy. But since that moment, I have been totally and utterlly pissed at the snow. I just want it and the cold to go AWAY so we can go on bike rides.
Play Date
Easton got to hang out with Reagan today!! Reagan is my friend Ana's little girl and it was really nice having them live close so we could go on walks, bike rides and to the park this summer. I'm even more excited for next summer when they will be more mobile and like the park even more :)
Bath Time
Birthday Cake round two, Family Pictures
Then just a few days after his birthday, we took these pictures... kinda his 1 year pictures, but also family pictures too. Thank you Jeremy for taking them!!
Easton's Birthday
I took the day for his birthday, but we stopped by the Foundation to visit. My dear friend and co-worker totally spoiled Easton. We appreciate Sandy so stinking much and I absolutely LOVE that Easton is so loved.
Then that night for dinner we went to Wallaby's and got a Magleby's chocolate cake. It was getting passed Easton's birthday so he wasn't exactly excited about the chocolate cake... plus I think he was sick of the attention.
Easton was spoiled!!
Putting him to bed on his birthday was very bittersweet! I love that he is getting older and having such a cute personality... but it's so sad to me that he's getting older and older. I just want him to stay young forever!!
LOVE YOU EASTON, SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH!! THANK YOU for making me one of the happiest moms on the planet!
